[Gears of Awesome]

not up to the standard

I hate to be the only one who has anything bad to say, but this Flash is not up to your standards man. It's well animated, and well voiced, but it's not as good as the other ones you've done, for one thing, it was just a bunch of screaming and random violence. The subtle gay locusts thing was pretty funny but other than that it was just dane cook style grunting.

but the animation was top notch as always and I liked the last bit, keep it up man!

it was good

just keep practicing dude! someday you will be very good at flash! this was a great try! and rather funny, just get good voice actors next time. honestly they are not hard to find. there are a lot of them here on newgrounds who will do it for free if you have a worthy animation. Put more time into it! and you will get somethings pretty awesome!

it was ok

I found the humor quite lacking for this parody, the bit at the end with the spider had a flash of true comedy, but it was predictable.

decent animation, stale sound effects, and overall the animation seemed a bit woody

but it was ok, don't get me wrong

amazing!

It was an excellent choice to give people a choice of voices, I watched the korean voices, honestly as I've said in past reviews of this series, the american ones suck and downgrade the whole feel of the show.
but the animation and story are spot on!

early 90 animation

The animation looked like something you'd see a self taught person do or someone who wasn't very good at it
It had that early 90's feel and it just wasn't that good to be honest. The characters, especially cloud and that one chick, were just plain creepy, armature 3d doesn't fit well with anime

final fantasy isn't that good to begin with anyway

animation: 5/10 good but not good enough, the characters looked kinda creepy
fluidity: 5/10, ehh, it stuttered a bit, and had an amateurish feel
story: n/a parody/fan made, therefore does not merit a rank
originality: n/a parody/fan made, therefore does not marit a rank
overall: 5/10, nothing special, would go better on a site for 3d not Newgrounds a site for Flash

I have to admit you're a lot better of an animator than the standard stick figure people, it's just this is overdone, it wasn't the best animation and the story was non existent

originality: n/a (this only counts for bonus points anyway, seeing 50 percent of all cartoons on this site are parodies/fanfluff)

[GunChest Episode 04_01]

bad voice acting

go back to the Japanese or Korean version or whatever, this episode would have been so much better if it had had that. The voices seem amateur and forced. It adds to the characters and frankly everyone sounds goofy in the American dub, the voice actress for the purple robot, the big guy and bee especially, and the villains sound far less intimidating and more like the people you'd expect to be henchmen than villains

but other than my little rant about bad voice acting the animation was great and the storyline is better than what you'd expect if not a little cliche'd
